Mine results from time-lapse digital imaging of individual single live bacterial cells under antibiotic stress to develop population models and multi-parametric algorithms for susceptibility classification
Conduct statistical analysis and create visualization tools to illustrate statistical significance of results and identify trends
Develop statistical methods and machine learning for predictive analysis
Post-graduate education in machine learning, applied mathematics, statistics and/or computer science (Ph.D preferred)
Extensive experience with single-cell organism image analysis, advanced statistics, data mining and machine learning
Expert proficiency and hands-on scientific programming skills in MATLAB, JAVA, C# and image processing software such as ImageJ
